It’s my favorite time of year! I love everything about Fall: pulling out all my hand-knitted scarves (thanks Mom!), the turning leaves on all the tress, the excuse to make homemade soup, and last but not least, the reminder to give thanks for everything I’ve been blessed with.
So, in the spirit of the season, and thanks to some inspiration from Kate over at Centsational Girl, I made a “thankful” mantle banner. I was browsing Kate’s project gallery one day and found her simple instructions on how she made her own. I was so impressed with hers, that I decided to make one myself!
Here’s the final project:
And much to my delight, my banner inspired another friend to make her own. Here’s a picture of Courtney’s finished product:
I’m so obsessed in love with my banner, that I’m thinking of making a Christmas themed one as well. Which by the way, I am SOOOOO excited to decorate for Christmas, I can’t hardly wait!
In the meantime, stay tuned over the next week and a half for more “thankful” themed posts.
Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
XO, AL
